Well, spring is just around the corner (at least we are hoping so!) and like everyone else in the Northeast we are ready for some warmer weather and sunshine! Things at Finger Lakes Morgans were busy as usual throughout the winter months, but we were all able to enjoy a little time off! We are gearing up for show season and can't wait! We have some exciting horses this year and and it should be fun. Cash and Danielle will team up and this will be one fun pair! Cash is about a sporty as they come and he is all about FUN! Norah and Danielle will again partner up for the English Pleasure division and Norah is just getting better and better....as trainer Cindy Stanton says "they are like peas and carrots!" Robin is gearing up for a totally different type of show season this year and probably won't be donning her western attire. She has been working hard all winter and will make her debut in the classic saddle seat division aboard Ultra's Bodyguard! Robin has loved this gelding from the minute she laid eyes on him and made it her goal to be able to ride him, and ride him she does! They make a fabulous pair...she is ready to go with a fantastic outfit and a fantastic horse! We can't wait to see them show for the first time! Robin's other fabulous partner, Oldfield Sailor, will be making a change this year...Robin has worked for the past year on dressage and Sailor loves this new endeavor. He and Robin will be riding their first tests this season and hey, you never know...you just might see them in a hunter class or two! But we wouldn't be complete without a western horse and our lovely little red head, TNP Joyful Spirit, will fill the bill. Danielle loves this mare and although the plan was for Robin to take over the reins...Danielle just couldn't quite give her up!

So, we will continue to wait patiently for the grass to peek through the snow and the sun to shine and look forward to show season...see you soon!
